Spanish 1 – Full Week of Lesson Plans & Activities

This 5‑day lesson sequence and Pacing Guide was created specifically for this sample week by combining a variety of resources from the Spanish Teachers Community. Each lesson includes a Bell Ringer, activities, an Exit Ticket, and an Assessment, along with optional readings, vocabulary sheets, posters, and a sub‑plan to show the range of materials available and how they can be combined.

These are the 10 materials from the Community you will use:

5 LESSON PLANS (in Spanish and English), each including a Bell Ringer/Activator, Lesson Slides, Exit Ticket, Worksheets and Handouts, and Assessments

Day 1 – Greetings & Introductions + Yo/Tú

Day 2 – Subject Pronouns, Personal Pronouns

Day 3 – Likes & Dislikes: Sports and Hobbies

Day 4 – Family and Relatives Vocabulary – Physical Traits, Relationships, Age, and Names

Day 5 – Physical and Personality Traits: Adjective Agreement, SER vs ESTAR

Google Drive account recommended: All files needed for each lesson (worksheets, handouts, slides, bell ringers, exit tickets, assessments, etc.) are linked inside the lesson plan document and can be downloaded directly from our Google Drive.

We highly recommend using a Google Drive account (or opening a free one) to make copies of the files more quickly.
